In Search of the Ruins

My second attempt at PIRL!
I'm sure I still have a lot to learn (like, everything!) so if you've got any advice or remark, pray tell.


During my first expedition inside the land of Brittany on my own, I strolled in forests like this one, looking for historical rock structures built by ancient people, known as "menhirs", "dolmens", or "megaliths". So in some way they can be called "ruins"! I followed the same path Twilight is following on this picture, under that green "roof" of branches, and right behind the viewpoint of this photo actually lies the first megalith that I encountered, in a little clearing! So Twilight is very close! I must say it felt awesome to follow that green road and witness the beauty of "Nature's architecture" at every step, to finally come to the clearing and notice I found the megalith I was looking for! That was such a great surprise! I plan to adapt one of the photos I've taken of the megalith into another PIRL ^^


The background photo was taken by me during my trip to Brittany in summer 2014. If you want to check out more photos from the trip, I made a ponified slideshow.
I've got more ideas of adapting some of those into PIRL! Because ponies truly enhanced my appreciation of those sights and experiences there!


A little game for fellow Soundtrack lovers : The title of this PIRL is a reference to a certain OST track. Can you spot where it comes from without looking it up? :D It's fairly difficult but who knows, we may have played the same game ^^


My PIRL pictures can be seen as my personal tribute to the characters from My Little Pony and the strong feelings I have for them as well as my obsession of seeing them in real life. It is also a tribute to the art of PIRL in itself and I wish to dedicate every single one of my works to the wonderful PIRL artists out there who did an amazing job creating masterpieces of art and who continue to amaze me with their creations! Thank you for what you have done, thank you for being here!
