Secrets Of A Strange Wind by Makenshi179 Secrets Of A Strange Wind by Makenshi179
Another one from the series of PIRL pictures I planned to make using photos from my trip to Brittany in summer 2014 :)

Yes I tried a darker shadow this time!

This is the same forest as in Wings of Kynareth.

If you want to check out more photos from the trip, I made a ponified slideshow.

A little game for fellow Soundtrack lovers : The title of this PIRL is a reference to a certain OST track. Can you spot where it comes from without looking it up? :D This one is very difficult ^^"
At the same time, it is also a reference to my personal faith.

My PIRL pictures can be seen as my personal tribute to the characters from My Little Pony and the strong feelings I have for them as well as my obsession of seeing them in real life. It is also a tribute to the art of PIRL in itself and I wish to dedicate every single one of my works to the wonderful PIRL artists out there who did an amazing job creating masterpieces of art and who continue to amaze me with their creations! Thank you for what you have done, thank you for being here!

This was actually a forest near the waterside, but I guess the sunlight on the water to the left made it look like the place was aerial :) Here's another shot at the edge of the forest : i.imgur.com/VdMhGOT.jpg (the path was very close to the waterside at one point)

That being said, I LOVE climbing mountains too!! :D
...But I can't do it anymore, because I have a physical disability, I can barely stand up or walk now, so climbing a mountain would be close to impossible... Unless I do many breaks maybe.
Well, that is why I'm enjoying climbing mountains... in video games, so much! ^.^ What I can't do IRL, I can always do in games, and that's such a wonderful thing :)

Oh.... .... .... sorry.
Man, I hope you'll get to climbing to the mountains someday, even though you need something extra for it. That's an amazing experience...

I did it once, near my place, with two friends... But we kinda went too far, we climbed one mountain, camped on its summit, and then on the next day we strolled around, got back down, and then... cimbed ANOTHER mountain that was near! On the next day! And camped near its summit also. That much walking and climbing has made my disability go so much worse than it was before, and now I think I really couldn't do that anymore. I have no regrets though. That experience was amazing!! Sure it literally messed my body up, but what I got to live on that adventure was priceless. Strolling in those forest-filled mountains... climbing our way to the top... setting up the camp and the campfire... eating marshmallows by the campfire (those were sooo good)... waking up to the Dawn's early light, then witnessing the Dawn while listening to "Academy" from BlackGryph0n (that track was actually fitting for the physical challenge I was facing!), Noctie that moment was SO emotional... it was wonderful. And we had a lot of fun on the next mountain too. Great times ^.^
"That's an amazing experience" So I take it you experienced it too? :D

Yeah, I did, for sure! I climbed the mountains a lot. :D Three of them were extremely memorable. Especially the last one, when my friends and me climbed our way up to the Hoverla through the deep (and sometimes even dark) green forests.
It's really amazing! Especially since it wasn't completely dark, and rays of the sun made their way through the tall trees around. I remember that feeling when I looked up and saw how beautiful a forest can be!
It was also an overwhelmingly happy feeling when we sat at the summit and relaxed a bit after this challenge. It was woderful! :D
I also remember looking down and seeing all those adorable forests below me... such an experience.
I'm glad we can share the feelings here. ^.^

Yeah I can definitely relate to those feelings and emotions, it's so awesome we have that in common too! ^.^

YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! ^.^
Also, you can't imagine my happiness a while ago when I realised that the place I moved to was near a forest, and that I live near one. Such an awesome feeling! :D
(Even though no mountains are here, it's still hyper-awesome!)

For sure, I myself prefer forests over mountains ^.^
That's so cool for you :)
My parents live at the countryside and there's many forests and mountains there (including that one I climbed with friends), but unfortunately, at the place I'm living on my own most of the time, it's in the city, and there's no forest nearby. But still! Sometimes I would go on an "expedition" on bicycle, ride away from the city, to find beautiful places like this one (those are photos I took there. Yes... I didn't have my pony plushies back then yet, so I brought other friends!)

Nice! That looks like a pretty cool forest to walk through.

I cheated and looked up what that song is. Now I'm getting flashbacks to the thing it came from, and when it played. IIRC, that was a disturbing part.

I've been waking up earlier lately because I have classes earlier in the day. I usually don't turn Skype on, though, since I'm usually studying at around this time. Sometimes I procrastinate a bit, though. :P
